I am a registered practitioner with the Craniosacral Therapy Association.
I trained originally as a Psychotherapist (Jungian Analyst) and have worked as a Psychotherapist since 1993. This work gave me deep insights into the working of the psyche and the unconscious. My teaching of Infant Observation Seminars to Psychotherapists together with the insights from patients, taught me that it was not enough to work only with the mind. I needed to be able to work with the body as well, so I trained in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy.
I am trained to work with Mothers and Babies and also with Trauma of all kinds. I keep up with the latest developments in neuroscience which emphasise the importance of the link between mind and body. This gentle hands on therapy allows the body to release areas of constriction in the body’s own time and at its own pace. Hence it is suitable for all ages – from babies to the elderly. I have an interest in those suffering from Cancer and I have worked extensively with psychosomatic problems.
I have been practising Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy since 2004. I have found Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy to have profound effects on my patients. Working wholistically, I bring with me my years of experience to help balance body and mind and spirit. I believe there is a profound connection between mental, emotional and physical health.
As Carl Gustav Jung has said:- Soul and body are not two things, they are one. (1934-9 Seminar)
